Which orientation is for you?

First-Year Orientation

All first-year students are required to attend an in-person or virtual Summer Orientation session prior to attending ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â's University. A first-year student is any student who has not previously attended a college or university full-time, including running start, dual degree, and dual enrollment students.

First-Year Orientation gives new Saints the opportunity to get acquainted with campus, meet other students, and register for their first-semester courses. Students attending First-Year Orientation in person will have the opportunity to meet faculty in their area of interest during registration. This program allows students to get to know ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â's from the perspective of a Saint by making connections with current students who can answer any questions they may have about transitioning to college.

You'll have the opportunity to review and adjust your pre-made schedule with a professional or faculty advisor; ensuring it aligns with your major, class preferences, and any test scores or college credits you've earned. Plus, you'll take care of essential tasks like the English Placement Exam, Math Placement Exam, and completing Consent Forms. While we strongly encourage completing these tasks beforehand, we're here to assist if needed. Choose the session that fits your schedule best.

Students who cannot attend any days should contact orientation@stmartin.edu.
