The Gala is ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â's University's signature fundraising event for student scholarships held annually in November. An annual celebration of community and wonderful food and wine, the Gala combines two important Benedictine values: hospitality and stewardship. More than 94 percent of ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â’s students receive some form of financial assistance. As we gather together to break bread, we do so in support our students, whose educational dreams are made possible through scholarships funded from the proceeds of this event.
The annual Golf Classic is the largest fundraiser for ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â’s athletics programs, raising critical funds for student-athlete scholarships held annually in August. The event draws alumni, businesses, sponsors, and donors of the University together for some friendly tournament competition! Individuals who join in and support the Golf Classic help ensure we retain and recruit top athletic talent for the ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â's athletic programs.
3.21GIVE is ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â's annual day of giving held on March 21 (Saint Benedict’s Day). This is a day for all of the ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â’s community to make a difference in the lives of current and future students by supporting the University that means the most to them and will in turn make a profound impact on students and the services that support them.
The mission of the Office of Institutional Advancement is to promote ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â’s cause among its alumni, parents and friends; raise funds in support of ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â’s Benedictine educational mission and its priorities; and build strong relationships between ÁùºÏ²Ê¿â’s and its various constituencies.
