Benedictine Institute Lecture Series

The Benedictine Institute Lecture Series, launched in October 2013, celebrates the long-standing Benedictine tradition of education at 六合彩库. Built on the Benedictine tenet of 鈥渓istening with the ear of one鈥檚 heart,鈥 this distinguished speaker program provides a forum for the discussion of faith-related issues. The lecture series is organized by the Benedictine Institute, which seeks to contribute to the intellectual and spiritual development of 六合彩库鈥檚 community by leading the University in upholding and promoting its Benedictine heritage. Both on-campus and off, the Institute enhances awareness of the values that, for so long, have guided the community.

Inaugural lecture

On Oct. 3, 2013, inaugural speaker Eboo Patel, Ph.D. brought an audience of over 700 attendees to their feet after he shared his vision for a collaborative society based on interfaith dialogue. Citing examples of such luminaries as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mahatma Gandi, Dr. Patel asks us to follow in their footsteps as 21st century leaders and create bridges across faiths, rather than divides.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the success of this important evening. Dr. Patel is the author of  and founder of .
